The "White Tower" in Kathmandu

The "White Tower"

The minaret-like Bhimsen Tower ( Dharahara )

 is a prominent landmark

  to the south of Durbar Square in Kathmandu.

 The tower was originally built in 1826

  but was rebuilt after the 1934 earthquake.
